Meet the Doctor

Dr. Cory L. Morris, D.C., CCSP®

Dr. Morris is the owner of EPIC Chiropractic, P.C. He is a Board Certified Chiropractor and licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia. He is also licensed to practice acupuncture. He has a great passion for chiropractic and helping others, believing that everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy and happy life. He takes pride in all his work; therefore, he stays up-to-date with all the latest news, technology, and research in the chiropractic and acupuncture fields to provide each patient with the best possible care. In April of 2015, Dr. Morris completed his post-graduate study to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This advanced his knowledge in the care and maintenance of athletes of all ages and skill levels to help them perform better, stay healthier, and recover from injuries in an efficient manner.

 

Dr. Morris is originally from Gasburg, VA where he grew up on the beautiful Lake Gaston. First and foremost, he is a Christian and enjoys spending time with family and friends. When he is not in the office, you may find Dr. Morris on the golf course, where he is an avid golfer and USGTF Certified Golf Teaching Professional. He loves playing the game of golf, as well as, helping others learn or improve their skills. He also enjoys playing basketball, water sports, exercising, and watching movies.

 

In 2010, Dr. Morris graduated from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. From there, he went onto Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL where he graduated Cum Laude and as the winner of the Virgil Strang Philosophy Award in 2013. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Morris was active in Sports Council Club, where he was a part of a team that treated many of the local athletes at sporting events. He also was a radiology assistant at the clinic, where he assisted in the procedures of taking x-rays and reviewing them for diagnoses. In September 2013, Dr. Morris was part of the clinic abroad program team through Palmer College of Chiropractic that took a trip to Fiji. While there, he provided chiropractic care and educated many of the native Fijians setting them on a path to a healthier lifestyle.
